On her trip to Vietnam in March 2008, a founding member of the association received pictures of houses of around 20 families in Da Ban and Tu Bông, province of Khanh Hoa. These houses were really dilapidated.

Back to Switzerland, she has talked to her friends how to provide assistance to these families. Hence, the name “To offer a roof” is given to the association founded on April 12th, 2008 by Kim Gutbrod and Michel Moor.

The purpose of the association is to raise funds to help rebuild homes to poor families in the villages of Da Ban and Tu Bông.
In three years, we have been able to finance the reconstruction of some twenty houses and renovating twenty more.

Subsequently, other requests of the villagers are brought to our attention, like for example heart operations for children, help to poor and alone elderly people, financial help to enable schooling of children from poor families, etc. Therefore, the activities of our association are diversified day after day.

For the time being, we are following more than 10 projects.
